1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Sakhi AI application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and VortexBiome Private Limited ("Company", "we", "us", "our"), a company incorporated in India (CIN: U39000ML2025PTC014211).
2. Description of Service
Sakhi AI is an AI-powered menstrual health application that: - Tracks and predicts menstrual cycles using machine learning - Sends advance notifications via push notifications and SMS - Provides menstrual health information and guidance - Offers a freemium subscription model (Free and Pro tiers) Sakhi AI is a wellness tool and is NOT a medical device. It should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Sakhi AI. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you should review these Terms with a parent or guardian.
4. Account Registration
To use Sakhi AI, you must register using your mobile phone number. You are responsible for: - Providing accurate and current information - Maintaining the confidentiality of your account - All activities that occur under your account - Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Subscription and Payments
Sakhi AI offers the following subscription plans: - Free Plan: Basic features at no cost - Pro Monthly: ₹29 per month - Pro Annual: ₹320 per year Payments are processed securely through Razorpay. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your selected payment method. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your Profile screen. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support@sakhiai.in within 7 days of purchase.
6. Medical Disclaimer
IMPORTANT: Sakhi AI is NOT a medical device and does NOT provide medical advice. - Period predictions are estimates based on historical data and may not be 100% accurate - Do not rely solely on Sakhi AI for contraception or family planning decisions - Consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns - Irregular cycles may indicate health conditions requiring medical attention The Company is not liable for any health decisions made based on information provided by the App.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to: - Use the App for any unlawful purpose - Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the App - Share your account credentials with others - Use the App to harass or harm others - Attempt to access other users' data - Use automated tools to access the App Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of Sakhi AI — including but not limited to the AI models, user interface, graphics, and text — are owned by VortexBiome Private Limited and are protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VortexBiome Private Limited shall not be liable for: - Inaccurate period predictions - Missed or delayed notifications - Any health decisions made based on App data - Loss of data due to technical failures - Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Shillong, Meghalaya, India.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
